Lockrite Security attend SWS conference and training day in London
On Tuesday 22nd January Lockrite’s company directors John Lacey and Phil Stockham went to SWS UK’s 2013 conference in London. The conference started at 10am on Tuesday morning and there were approximately 50 attendees from various businesses around the UK.
We attended the conference to check out the recent developments regarding SWS UK’s range of Roller Garage Doors and Shutters. SWS UK informed us that they are going to be using a different supplier for their control units used in their roller garage door range.
Lockrite will continue to provide support for the old control units and customers can be upgraded to the new version at any time. If you want to upgrade your existing control unit please contact us to arrange installation.

Smartphone operation of your Roller Garage Door
Thanks to the new control units customers can now operate their garage doors using their smartphones as a remote control.
SWS UK launch a new product (Available from 1st May 2013)
SeceuroGlide Connect allow connection through a wifi (wireless) router with any terminal using remote access via your internet connection. This enables you to use your smartphone like a normal transmitter to operate your roller garage door within range of your wireless router.
The SeceuroGlide Connect+ allows total control of your SeceuroGlide garage door via telephone calls and text messages, which will allow you to operate your garage door via your smartphone from anywhere in the world. You garage door is able to text you self-diagnostic reports so you know your garage door is working correctly. Using the smartphone app you can see if the garage door is open or closed along with options to operate the door from your phone.
6 new SeceuroGlide remote controls
SWS UK have designed a range of different remote controls for you to choose from depending on your needs. In particular the “Plus” remote control has larger buttons that is ideal for customers with arthritic hands.
Roller garage door lighting is now available
The SeceuroGlide lighting options give the opportunity to have attractive outside lighting. Discretely fitted as a down light this enhancement to your garage can be set to turn on and off automatically in accordance with when you use your garage. It can also be left on to allow additional lighting to your driveway.
