Benefits of using a Digital Video Recorder with your CCTV system
We use DVRs to record CCTV footage from the cameras onto the DVR’s hard drive, which range from 250GB up to 1TB+. Having a larger hard drive allows you to store footage for weeks (as opposed to days) at a high frame rate, which will allow you to record in real-time.
Using a digital video recording system enables companies to centralize the management and control of their security systems across the world, dramatically reducing the number of security and monitoring staff required on site.
Automatic notifications by email if intruders are on your premises
Passive Infra-red sensors can be installed around your building and linked up to the DVR to notify you by email when an intruder is detected around your premises. This allows you to receive security notifications to your iPad, iPhone, Android Tablet/Phone or computer (via email). Your devices need to be configured to receive email.
